About Us

MG Georgia

MG Georgia, seeks to provide support, comfort and education for those dealing with Myasthenia Gravis. Our group holds monthly support group meetings and semi-annual meetings featuring speakers who are experts in Myasthenia Gravis treatment and research. We encourage you to discuss anything you learn in the group with your personal physician to see if it is an option for you prior to trying it. We are an all-volunteer group led by people affected by Myasthenia Gravis. We foster a diverse group where everyone is welcome to attend our meetings and events.

In 2023, we became part of the Myasthenia Gravis Holistic Society a 501(c)(3) organization.

MG Georgia is led by national support group leader Alexis Rodriguez.   Alexis has been a MG support group leader for over 15 years.  He is also a member of the Rare Disease Advisory Council of Georgia.  He has been living with myasthenia gravis for over 25 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the MG community.
